Organizers of Doors Open Lambton County are asking owners of unique heritage sites to consider participating in the 2016 event.
Celebrated annually by communities around the world, Doors Open provides residents and visitors with a unique opportunity to explore hidden heritage treasures, all at no cost.
The local event is scheduled for June 11 and 12. In 2012 and 2014, it attracted more 13,000 visitors to sites across Lambton County.
Organizers are looking for heritage properties rarely seen by the public, including private residences, businesses, public buildings, and natural spaces. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
