Digital service squad to help businesses improve online presence

A “digital service squad” began visiting downtown businesses this week to help them improve their online presence.

A “digital service squad” began visiting downtown businesses this week to help them improve their online presence.

The Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership is providing the free service through a $40,000 grant it received from the Ontario Digital Main Street program.

The squad consists of two trained specialists who visit downtown businesses to help them set up Google Business, conduct a readiness assessment, and apply for a $2,500 digital transformation grant.

The goal is to helps small businesses use and benefit from new digital technologies.
