Davies finishes third at Chicago meet

Sarnia’s Andrew Davies helped pace the McMaster University men’s long-distance running team to a first place finish at the Loyola Lakefront Invitational in Chicago.

Sarnia’s Andrew Davies helped pace the McMaster University men’s long-distance running team to a first place finish at the Loyola Lakefront Invitational in Chicago.

The Northern Collegiate grad finished third among 126 runners taking part in the wet and muddy eight-kilometre race.

The McMaster men were the top team at the 15-university meet on Sept. 30, with Wisconsin and Marquette finishing second and third.

On the women’s side, Sarnia’s Caroline Forbes had the fastest time for McMaster and finished 21st overall while Kaylee White was 66th.
