Bright’s Grove’s Laura Dally has been named to the 14-member Women’s National Team training and selection camp, which runs to Aug. 1 in Edmonton.
At the end of the camp, Canada will announce the 12-player list for the FIBA Women’s AmeriCup being held from Aug. 6 - 13 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Canada, which is ranked sixth in the world by FIBA, will begin its AmeriCup title defense against Cuba.
Dally is a Northern Collegiate grad who won a Canadian university championship with the University of Saskatchewan last year.
