Cyclone Aid is blowing back into town.
On April 1 about 300 volunteer students, teachers, parents and community partners will go door-to-door in Sarnia, Point Edward and Bright’s Grove collecting non-perishable food items for the Inn of the Good Shepherd.
Collection will take place between 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Anyone not home during that time can place donations outside the door with a sign reading: “Cyclone Aid.” Donations will also be accepted at St. Patrick’s High School.
Last year, more than 25,000 pounds of food was collected to support the food bank and soup kitchen.
