Lambton College will have no varsity sports this fall.
The Ontario Colleges Athletic Association has suspended sports and recreation activities for the 2020 fall semester because of COVID-19, the organization said.
For Lambton, one of 27 colleges in the Association, soccer and baseball won’t begin as usual in September.
Lambton fields men’s and women’s soccer team, and its varsity baseball team had its inaugural year in 2019.
Winter sports are still planned, but with reduced schedules, the Association said. That could still change, though, with a final decision coming this fall.
