Lambton College announced a “trio of innovative new programs” this week, set to launch next fall.

The new, full-time programs begin Sept. 2023 and include the Bachelor of Science - Nursing; Medical Esthetics & Advanced Skin Care Therapies; and Mechanical Techniques - Plumbing.

As previously announced, the new standalone nursing degree allows the college’s four-year Bachelor of Science - Nursing program to be offered in its entirety at Lambton.

Previously, colleges required a university partner to offer degree-level programming, which saw students completing their final two years outside of Sarnia-Lambton.

The new medical aesthetics and advanced skin care therapies program is a one-year Ontario College Graduate Certificate that “combines the knowledge and practical skills necessary to administer advanced treatments in the Spa and Beauty industry," the college noted.

The third new program, mechanical techniques - plumbing, is a one-year, two-term Ontario College Certificate program that covers the level 1 in-school curriculum for the plumbing apprenticeship.

Interested applicants can learn more about these new programs and the rest of Lambton College's diploma, degree and certificate offerings during an upcoming Application Night, taking place Wednesday, January 11 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Applications for all 2023 programs are now open. A full list of Lambton College program offerings is available at lambtoncollege.ca/programs.
