A Lambton County employee has received an OPP commendation for his role in the Noelle Paquette homicide investigation.

Using county software Greg Spiridonov worked with the OPP to create high-resolution aerial photos and maps used during the murder investigation.

The Commissioner’s Letter of Commendation is the highest honour bestowed by the OPP.

“We, as a corporation and as a community, are proud of him,” said Warden Bev MacDougall.

In February, a Sarnia man and women were convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment for the first-degree murder of the 27-year-old city kindergarten teacher on Jan. 1, 2013.
