Nearly 500 menstrual hygiene products were collected at Sarnia’s first Tampon Tuesday.
Donations received at the May 28 event were distributed to women in need through the Inn of the Good Shepherd, organizer Michelle Parks said in a release.
The first in a series of monthly events was held at the St. Clair Corporate Centre and is now seeking a permanent home, she said.
In the meantime, donations can be dropped off at Your Local Girl Gang, Purdy's Ideal Weight Loss Clinic, Lambton Public Health and the CMHA, as well as the Inn.
