Sarnia Police recently arrested four drivers on impaired charges in a seven-hour period.
One woman was stopped after being seen driving erratically through Canatara Park, and a man was arrested for refusing to give a breath sample following a disturbance on Capel Street.
A second man was charged when the truck he was driving crashed through a fence and stopped on the front yard of a city home.
And another man was found passed out in a vehicle stopped on Michigan Avenue.
All offence occurred between 8:20 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 29 and 3:35 a.m. the following morning.
Impaired driving charges were already up 55% over the first nine months of 2019, city police say.
