Sarnia has begun charging a fee to reserve its busiest tennis and pickleball courts.
The multi-use courts at Cathcart Park, Germain Park, Kenwick Park and Linden Park can now be reserved, joining baseball diamonds, soccer pitches, and picnic pavilions as facilities bookable in advance.
The court fee is $15 per hour. Reservations can be made in person at city hall, or by calling 519-332-0330, ext. 3201.
If any of the facilities are not booked they will continue to be available free to the public on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Courts at Tecumseh, Lansdowne, and Clearwater Parks do not require reservations.
