A former Bluewater Gymnastics product cracked the top ten in a pair of individual events at the recent NCAA women’s gymnastics championships in Fort Worth, Texas.

Talia Chiarelli, now competing for the University of Michigan, tied for seventh in the floor exercise and tied for eighth on the balance beam.

Chiarelli’s Wolverines finished fourth in the semi-finals in the team event and did not advance to the team final.

Her one-time teammate at Bluewater Gymnastics, Dominique Pegg was part of the University of Alabama squad which made it to the final and finished fourth overall.
