The Celebration of Lights organizers have announced the winners of the 2022 lighting competition and sponsor/volunteer awards.

The home at 440 St. Lawrence Court, which features a synchronized lights show and selfie station, won both the Harvey McMichael (People’s Choice) Award, and third prize.

Second place was awarded to the home at 73 Turner Drive, where the Grinch hands out candy canes every Saturday evening and there’s a collection box for donated non-perishables.

  The first place winner was the home at 177 Christina Street, where owner Tammie Willis has been decorating for holidays since the pandemic. The ‘misfit Christmas’ themed home is also a drop-off location for donations to the River City Vineyard food bank.

The ‘Children’s Choice’ awards were named to 75 Ashby Crescent (first place) and 280 Laurentian Crescent (second place).

Meanwhile, the organization also named its sponsor/volunteer awards:
