Captain Kidd Days gives back

Journal staff Members of Corunna's Captain Kidd Days committee handed out some $38,000 to local charity and community groups last week, as part of the event's 2022 fundraising efforts.

Members of Corunna's Captain Kidd Days committee handed out some $38,000 to local charity and community groups last week, as part of the event's 2022 fundraising efforts.

Recipients included: Mooretown Minor Hockey, Corunna Minor Ball, Junior Flags, Corunna Fire Department, Canadian Mental Health Association, St. Clair Child & Youth, Sarnia-Lambton Rebound, 999th Legion for Child Rights, and the Corunna Skate Park. The Sarnia Street Cruisers also donated their proceeds from the car show to Diversity Ed.
