The first 120 employees are trained and working at the new Atelka Contact Centre in Sarnia.
The call centre in the Western Research Park on Modeland Road held its grand opening June 5, when officials showed off the newly renovated site.
The centre began taking calls on behalf of major telecommunications client in early April.
“We are well on our way to meeting our objective of 300 agents for this location,” said CEO Georges Karam, whose company operates eight contact centres in Canada.
