The Sarnia Braves Midget 18U team made it to the quarterfinals of Michigan’s Oakland University Tournament June 11-12
In the playoff, Sarnia jumped out to a 7-0 lead before falling 10-7 to the JTB Tigers, which went on to play in the championship game.
The Braves got strong pitching from Drew Pepper, Dillon Timperly, Brennan Healy, Jake Taylor and Jake Burgess, while the offence was paced by Matt Ferguson with two home runs, Nolan Nicholson with one homer and some key hits, and Evan Musson, Noah Best and Jake Taylor.
