Two local boxers from the River City Boxing Club scored victories at the Battle Arts Academy Club Show in Mississauga on Sept. 27.
Dylan Taylor won a majority decision over a boxer from Wasaga Beach.
And Marchello Solinas, a former MMA fighter, was victorious in his heavyweight boxing debut.
The River City Boxing Club is preparing for their home show on Oct. 17 at the Mitton Street facility.
At least 10 fights are planned with eight local boxers, including Taylor, Solinas, Mandy Taylor, Eric Walker, Kyle Murray, Peter Nassiokas, Blake Loxton, Adina Potter and Ryan Huggett.
Bell rings at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15 at the door, $10 advance.
