What appears to be a massive slingshot is actually the moon setting behind the bulk freighter Federal EMS as it heads north in the St. Clair River. Corunna resident Midge Neal was taking shots of the full harvest moon on Sept. 14 when she recorded the optical illusion shortly after 7 p.m. “Just simply good timing of both the moon and the vessel,” she said.
