Published on

Sarnia-Lambton MPP Bob Bailey has been named Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Government and Consumer Services in the new Doug Ford government.

The ministry oversees consumer protection, public safety and business law.

At a swearing-in ceremony last week, Bailey said he was honoured and looks forward to restoring accountability and trust in the provincial government.

Parliamentary assistants support their ministers, build relationships and promote government initiatives.

Premier Ford named 21 cabinet ministers and 26 parliamentary assistants from among his 76-member Progressive Conservative caucus.
