Bluewater Health’s chief of professional staff, Dr. Michel Haddad, was honoured by Western University’s Schulich School of Medicine recently, for his commitment to “making the school a rewarding place to learn and his exceptional interest and enthusiasm for the learning needs of trainees,” according to a news release.
The Award of Excellence for Faculty in Community/Distributed Sites, was presented at an event May 30.
Hospital board chair Paul Wiersma noted Haddad’s work to build the relationship between the school and Bluewater Health, on top of his administrative duties and medial practice in the Intensive Care Unit.
