Wind speeds that reached 65 kilometres per hour with gusts to 88 kph caused considerable damage in Sarnia on March 8.

Garden sheds were upended, fences blown over, light standards snapped in two and tree limbs ripped off.

Here, the wind creates a sand storm after stripping dirt from the unfinished surface of Centennial Park and blowing it across parts of the city.
