Black and White game slated for Aug. 28

The Sarnia Sting’s 14th annual black and white game in support of the United Way Sarnia-Lambton will be played Aug. 28 at the Progressive Auto Sales Arena. The 7 p.m. game features current Sting players and prospects looking to make the roster.

The 7 p.m. game features current Sting players and prospects looking to make the roster.

The event marks the official kickoff to the Sting season as well as the United Way’s campaign fundraising goal announcement. The campaign officially kicks off Sept. 20 with the Day of Caring.

Admission is free and donations are accepted. Proceeds from the 50/50 draw, jersey raffle and lineup sheet sales go to the United Way.
