Northern Collegiate continued its undefeated season by trounced Ursuline College of Chatham 68-31 to win the LKSSAA senior girls basketball championship on Nov. 9. Here, Cassidy Hirtle, who was top shooter with 28 points, drives hard to the net after snatching the ball from a surprised UCC defender. The Vikings advanced to the all-Ontario AAA championship Nov 21-23 in Mississauga after beating LaSalle Villanova 63-24 last week to claim the Southwestern regional title for a second straight year.
