To Autumn: A fall photo feature

Migrating monarch butterflies pause to rest at the Perch Creek Habitat Management Area, 200 acres of conservation land on Churchill Line. Glenn Ogilvie

O Autumn, laden with fruit, and stain’d
With the blood of the grape, pass not, but sit
Beneath my shady roof; there thou may’st rest,
And tune thy jolly voice to my fresh pipe,
And all the daughters of the year shall dance!
Sing now the lusty song of fruits and flowers.

Amanda Cohoon appears pensive while taking in the brilliant fall colours at the University of Western Ontario Research Park on Modeland Road. The second-year Lambton Collage computer programming student was awaiting a ride home.
