More than 40 of Lambton College’s top varsity and intramural athletes were recognized at a recent appreciation night hosted by the Athletics Department and Student Administrative Council.
Highlights included Tyvell Peters of the men’s basketball team winning both Varsity Athlete of the Year and Most Valuable Player honours.
Women’s basketball team member Christine Fleischer also claimed Varsity Athlete of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year.
Rookie of the Year awards went to soccer player Juan Galindo Jr. and basketballers Kardon Edwards and Deiondre Reid.
Journee Joseph of the men’s basketball team claimed two honours, Teammate of the Year and co-winner of the Spirit of Sport Award, which he shared with soccer player Aaran Pollock.
