Lambton’s Creative County Grant Program is now open for funding applications for arts, culture and heritage initiatives happening in 2023.

The program invests in new and innovative projects that ‘build cultural capacity, strengthen the creative community, define the County’s unique identity and enrich the quality of life of all residents.’

Organizers of new or expanding initiatives are encouraged to apply online for funding to cover up to 50% of project costs.

"Last year’s program support 21 different projects that demonstrated innovation and resilience throughout the turbulence of the pandemic,” said Andrew Meyer, general manager, cultural services division. Applications will be accepted online only at lambtononline.ca/creativecounty through to Nov. 14 at 4 p.m. The county has allocated a budget of $75,000 in available funding for the 2023 year.

The Creative County Grant Program has supported more than 170 cultural initiatives across Lambton County.
