Another cat shot

Published on

Sarnia Police are investigating another cat shooting.

A cat in the area of Lansdowne and Devine streets was shot in the face with a pellet gun sometime around July 12, police said.

A veterinarian treated the animal and removed the pellet.

Anyone with information is asked to call city police at 519-344-8861, or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477(TIPS)

Sarnia made international headlines in February after a cat named Joe was found on Lakeshore Road with 17 pellets in its head.

Joe lost an eye but made a full recovery and was later placed with a foster family.

Two Sarnia men were charged in that shooting and are still before the courts.
