The COVID-19 picture remains largely unchanged in Sarnia-Lambton today, with one new case reported and one more person having recovered from the novel coronavirus, Lambton Public Health reports.

As of 8 a.m. today, a total of 183 people had been infected. Fourteen have died, a figure that’s been stable for 11 days.

The status is also unchanged at local seniors homes, which account for one in four local cases.

Vision Nursing Home has six cases (four residents, two staff), Sumac Lodge one, and Landmark Village 40, including 30 residents (six deaths) and 10 staff.

As of this morning, Bluewater Health said it was treating 11 patients who have tested positive and another 19 suspected of having COVID-19 and awaiting results.
