Anti-Violence Walk

Summer Kick Off

Annual summer kick-off featuring a full slate of bands, motorcycle show, refreshments and a barbecue at the Corunna Legion, Albert and Beckwith streets, Corunna. The Sarnia Street Machines will meet in Canatara Park for a car show and swap meet 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Vintage Cars, Roadsters and more on display. Admission free but donations accepted, proceeds going to Pathways Centre. Registration for cars 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Cash prizes and trophies awarded to registrants. Seniors Cruise

The 35th annual Seniors Cruise offers a St. Clair River outing aboard the Duc D’Orleans II, food and refreshments. As usual, the only cost is only a smile. Canada Day Sarnia

Celebrations for Canada Day start with the parade at 11:30 a.m. from Lakeshore and Colborne, ending in Canatara Park. Festivities include multi-cultural entertainment, ethnic food booths, arts & crafts, children’s activities and train rides from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. throughout Canatara Park. Opening Ceremonies at 1:30pm in the park band shell. Moving to the Sarnia Waterfront and Bayshore parking lot at 4:30 p.m. is musical entertainment and fireworks at dusk.
