The torch relay for the 2015 Pan Am Games will stop in Sarnia next spring as part of the lead-up to the major multi-sport event in Toronto next summer. Local residents aged 13 and older are invited to enter to be a torchbearer at toronto2015.

The torch relay for the 2015 Pan Am Games will stop in Sarnia next spring as part of the lead-up to the major multi-sport event in Toronto next summer.

Local residents aged 13 and older are invited to enter to be a torchbearer at toronto2015.org/torch-relay. The application process closes Dec. 1.

In addition, Sarnia-Lambton will get to nominate one community torchbearer, who will carry the torch when the Pan Am flame travels through Sarnia.

Nominations for the community torchbearer spot are now open, with the application process also closing Dec. 1.
