Fifty years on This row of maple trees on Bright Street is the product of a Centennial initiative conducted in 1967 that saw more than 13,000 maple and spruce trees planted in Sarnia. Called Growing with Canada, the cooperative project involved The Observer, which distributing the trees, City Hall and the Ontario Department of Lands and Forests. Glenn Ogilvie
