Swimming sisters do well at Ontario Winter Games

An 11-year-old synchronized swimmer from Sarnia won a bronze medal at the Ontario Winter Games. Larissa Loucks had the third-place finish in duet in her age group and was awarded the gold standard for extension and flexibility.

Larissa Loucks had the third-place finish in duet in her age group and was awarded the gold standard for extension and flexibility.

Competing as part of the London Syncho Club team, Larissa placed fifth in figures, fifth in solo and seventh in the team competition.

Her sister, Baillie-James Loucks, 13, also posted strong performances at the Games, which were held March 1-4 in Orillia, Ont.

Baillie-James had an eighth place finish in solo and a 5th place finish in the team event.
