The wait is over.
With newcomers Jakob Chychrun and Pavel Zacha ready to make their mark, the Sarnia Sting are beginning their Ontario Hockey League training camp.
The team has scrimmages scheduled for 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 28, and 10 a.m. Friday prior to the 9th annual Black and White intrasquad game at 7:05 p.m. Friday at the RBC Centre.
Admission is free, and proceeds from the 50/50 draw and other promotions go to the United Way.
Sarnia begins the pre-season by hosting Saginaw on Monday, Sept. 1 at the RBC Centre, at 2:05 p.m.
