Shell Canada has given Lambton College $240,000 to boost its technology training.
Some of the money will be used to hold workshops to expose local Grade 9-10 students to potential careers in trade and technology.
The donation will also create a mobile technology trailer to visit local high schools and First Nation communities, a summer camp at the college, a Women in Trades event, as well as trade and technology days for elementary-age students.
