Two tennis players from Sarnia have claimed overall division championships on the 2014 Little Caesars Junior Tennis Tour.
Mattias Mueller and Andrew Davies were each victorious on the final tour stop in London on July 27, allowing them to claim the 14-and-under and 18-and-under boys' titles respectively.
Mueller and Davies each won three of four tournaments and made the finals in a fourth. Sarnia, Amherstburg and Chatham hosted the other events.
The other overall division champions were Ava Skuse (girls' 18s) and Madeleine Alexander (girls' 14s), both of London.
Sarnia’s Marissa Mueller, competing in her first Little Caesars Tour stop of the season, captured the girls' 14-and-under London event with an 8-5 victory at Western University.
Other Sarnia-Lambton participants who turned in solid performances this year but bowed out in earlier rounds were Tristan and Chandler Haagsma (boys' 14s).
