Sarnia has been invited to attend an award ceremony in Anchorage, Alaska for being named a winner of fDi Magazines’s “American Cities of the Future” ranking.
The Financial Times magazine ranked Sarnia 8th in a category for business friendliness among small cities of North and South America in 2015-16.
In that same category, the top three small cities are from the U.S., and the other seven in top 10 from Canada, with Fredericton, N.B. leading the way.
In the overall category, New York, San Francisco and Houston are ranked the top American cities of the future.
Toronto is sixth.
