The Sun Media call centre in Sarnia has closed.
A former employee told The Journal that a representative from Sun Media corporate walked into the facility in the Bayside Mall on Friday and “told everyone to disconnect.”
The manager said their positions were being outsourced to an offshore location, and that the classified centre would also close on Sept. 1.
About 70 jobs are impacted.
