Walter Pepper carved this space rocket to celebrate both Sarnia’s Centennial and former astronaut and city native Chris Hadfield.
The Forest carver started out with wooden logs at the Lambton Drug Awareness alcohol-free New Year’s party and completed the sculpture in time for The Gathering, the big municipal reunion at the RBC centre on June 28.
