John Lawrence McLellan passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at home, on the family farm where he lived for 81 years. He leaves behind his loving wife of 55 years, Diane. Proud father of his son Shawn McLellan and daughter Amy (Rob) Marsden. The best poppa to his grandchildren Elliott and Lila Marsden. They were the light of his life. Survived by his sister Shirley (Paul) Ratzlaff, sister-in-law Barb Teskey, brother-in-law Ron (Barb) Sweeney and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents Don and Adeline McLellan. Larry loved puttering and cutting grass and supporting Elliott and Lila in everything they loved to do and cheering them on. He was a constant fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Blue Jays. Larry was a longtime member of the Plympton-Wyoming Agricultural Society and enjoyed all his volunteer time with the many friends that shared his passion. He was a longtime employee of Wanstead Farmer’s Co-Op. Larry will be missed and loved forever. Special thank you to Dr. Lam, nurse Lisa, the Wyoming-area first responders and the BWH - Petrolia Emergency team for their care, compassion, and dedication. Join us for a celebration of Larry’s life to share and reflect at Plympton-Wyoming Agricultural Society, 595 Main St, Wyoming, ON, on Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Comfy clothes only, that is requested from Larry.
