With loved ones by her side on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at Lambton Meadowview Villa, Petrolia, Helen Mae Baird (nee Randall), passed away at the age of 89. Predeceased by her husband, Tom (2015). She will be dearly missed by her sister-in-law, Janet Randall (the late Ross) and her nieces and nephews, Jim (Lisa) Randall, Eric (Keiko) Randall, Cathy (Sean) Patchett, Brenda (the late Larry) McNally, and Keith (Charlene) Maginn. Predeceased by her sister June (Bruce) Maginn.
Helen was head nurse at Imperial Oil for many years and trained nursing students at Sarnia General Hospital. She loved curling and golf, was a member of the Sarnia Golf and Curling Club, loved to sail and travel to Hawaii and Florida during many winters. Helen will be dearly missed, but we find peace in her passing knowing that she has rejoined her love, Tom.
A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 13, 2024, at the Wyoming Chapel of Needham-Jay Funeral Home, 650 Broadway St. Interment in Hillsdale Cemetery.
