Sarnia’s renowned Santa Claus Parade returns on Saturday, Dec. 7.

Each year, thousands of spectators line up on Christina Street, starting at 6 p.m., to catch a glimpse of twinkling floats, enthusiastic marching bands and old St. Nick himself.

The Sarnia Kinsmen have hosted the parade for 38 years and work with volunteers, businesses and industry, service groups, rest homes, churches and schools to stage the spectacle.

The club needs to raise about $20,000, in part to pay the travel costs of the marching bands.

To help out, contact president Bob Marks at 519-542-8438, or send a cheque payable to Sarnia Kinsmen Club, P.O. Box 861, Sarnia, ON, N7T 7J9.
