Sarnia is in the final stages of preparing a Sarnia Transit app that will give patrons up-to-date information on taking the bus.
The app will provide route information, locations and stop times. It will also allow users to plan trips with multiple bus connections, walking times and alerts on when to leave.
The city has been working with a tech company to implement Google Transit, a real-time transit app that works with Google Maps.
“It’ll make transit much easier,” said David Jackson, manager of Development and Transportation, who expects it to be ready within the month.
