Construction of a new Hampton Inn in Point Edward should be completed this winter, officials say.
The six-storey building on Venetian Boulevard will have 92 units and feature an indoor pool, fitness centre and 24-hour business centre, Darko Vranich, CEO of property developer Vrancor Group, said in a release.
Once open, the hotel will create an estimated 30 new jobs in the area.
Hampton Inns applied for a $5-million building permit for the 1.8-acre property, which is located between the Best Western Guildwood Inn and the Holiday Inn.
