An old construction access road has been resurfaced with crushed stone to create a multi-use path for residents of Heritage Park.

The two-metre-wide walking and cycling path links the neighbourhood with another new pathway beside the recently completed Wellington Street extension, east of Modeland Road.

Sarnia and Lambton County jointly acquired the former Dow Canada head office lands in 2003 for the Western Sarnia-Lambton Research Park.

The long-term plan is to replace the temporary path with a permanent one, city staff say.
