The Sarnia Imperials’ season came to an end Aug. 12 when they lost their semifinal game 35-0 to the defending champion GTA All Stars.
Sarnia compiled a 5-3 record during the Northern Football Conference season and won its first playoff game over Ottawa.
But the All Stars, which drubbed Sarnia 44-0 earlier in the season, easily advanced to play the Tri-City Outlaws for the league title.
