Sarnia's Mike Tanner, 69, and John Damoiseaux, 64, right, have joined three other men in a 90-day cycling trek from Victoria, B.C., to St. John’s Newfoundland. Calling themselves the Cross Canada Grampas, the men, all over 60, are riding for themselves and raising money for various causes, including Sarnia’s palliative care unit and hospice, Indigenous youth and healing, ALS and Developing World Connections. Following a local launch on May 23 the Grampas drove to B.C. to begin the 8,000-kilometre ride. Tanner is biking coast-to-coast and Damoiseaux is doing the eastern leg. Jake Romphf
