A decision to reduce service this summer on a Sarnia Transit route will be reconsidered by city council on July 31.

Earlier this month, the Route 9 bus schedule changed from every 15 minutes to every 30 minutes for July and August only.

Route #9 starts at the downtown terminal and covers Exmouth Street, London Road, Heritage Park and the UWO Research Park.

Busing was also reduced to Heritage Park from once an hour to by request only

But following complaints from riders some councillors intend to revisit the summer schedule at the next meeting.

The changes were approved in December as a cost-cutting measure.
