Carter Barron of Northern Collegiate won the junior boys' 300-metre hurdles at the Southwestern Ontario high school track and field championships. Barron was also part of the Vikings’ 4X400 metre relay team, which finished second at the Windsor meet held May 23-24. Bruce Smith, Special to The Journal
