Sarnia is in the market for a new deputy police chief.
Bob Farlow announced in writing last week he will retire from the Sarnia Police Service in May of 2018.
Farlow said he joined the force almost 39 years ago with the purpose of keeping his family, friends and the citizens of Sarnia safe.
“It’s been a blast, and hopefully I’ve done my part,” he said.
The service will now be looking to fill its two most senior positions.
In October, Chief Phil Nelson announced his retirement, effective June of 2018.
