City council is expected to revisit the troubled tale of Sarnia’s long-delayed public boat launch today.

A staff report to council sheds little light on why the ramps haven’t yet been built in Sarnia Bay, other than to say the city still awaits a design and construction schedule from the contractor, Bre-X Construction, and contract administrator, Golder Associates.

Staff has also asked council to approve another $250,000 from reserves to complete the remediation of Centennial Park, a project that with infrastructure improvements has cost about $12.8 million.

City Hall has about $400,000 set aside for the boat ramp work and parking lot at Sarnia Bay Marina.
